This week on #FaeFriday, we’re talking about healing! Faeries are known for their healing abilities. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dying plant or a broken heart. The fair folk can help mend what is broken. So this week’s prompt is: What book helped you through a difficult time?

My Answer:

I really love this weeks prompt. To be honest there have been many books that have gotten me through difficult times.
Reading is my escape from reality, when it all gets to be too much.

I read when i was a kid, but i really became an avid reader when i was about 12 or 13. My dad took us into a book store and told us to pick out one book and when we finished it we could come back and he'd get us another one. Little did he know what he had just started. 😂
The first book i can remember reading while going through some difficult stuff was City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. This also started another obsession, lol. Cassandra Clare was, and still is, one of my all time favorite authors. I have read almost all of her books, i definitely own all of them, and also have multiple copies of more than one of her books. I have a bit of a problem with collecting different additions of her books. Chain of Gold comes out in less than a month and I've already Pre-ordered no less than four copies. 😬 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Mortal Instruments series was a light in one of the darkest times of my life, and for that it will always be a favorite of mine.

Happy Friday, Everyone!
