ARC REVIEW: Malum Part 2 By Amo Jones

Synopsis:

Some girls don’t like pretty things.
Some girls like things that are destructive, and toxic. Things that fuel our bodies with adrenaline and bring our demons to their knees.
They say magic isn’t real, but it’s it the closest way to describe love? It doesn’t exist physically. It merely exists around us, within us, possessing our souls and making us do stupid shit. Shit like falling in love with a boy who knows how to rip my world apart and raise hell with a simple flick of his wrist. Their secrets are now mine. I’m not just in the middle of this game, I’m helping orchestrate it. Can the cries of my aching soul be enough to drown out the burning embers of my mistakes?
The mind strengthens the heart, roughing the edges to prepare it for war. This is a war I will not win.
This is a war of fate.

Review:

Holy, Shit. Well, not that I expected any less, but Amo blew my freaking mind with this one.

Honestly one of the best books I've read this year.

This is book is so insanely good. SO many thing's happening, oh my gosh.

All the feeling in this one. ALL of them!

Nate and his different sides of himself in this one, giving me whiplash, but man does he make up for it in the end. I love Nate. He can be such a savage, but he also has the playboy, sarcastic, jokester side to him. And obviously the slightly less savage side he shows only to Tillie. We really see him grow into the man he's meant to be in this book. He deals with so much. All of the conflict, the grief, and the struggles with the king's, and with Tillie. Oh my gosh, Nate just might be my favorite King.

"Grief can bring out the ugly in some people. Your world shifts, and it takes a part of you with it, and sometimes, you fall between the cracks of where it used to be."

And Tillie, holy shit, Tillie. My god, does she straight up become the queen they've all been calling her. She is the only woman on equal ground with the king's and for good reason. She is SO strong, savage when needed, not afraid to take her revenge and justice into her own hands, yet soft and caring. She is the missing piece to all of the kings. I absolutely loved getting to see them all form into this family unit with Tillie right in the middle holding them all together.

"Wear it. Pair it with some thigh-high boots, and Tillie?" She says as my glance drops down the small black and lace... dress. "Own it like the queen that you are." Her words surge through me, power in each letter."

Amo's writing and how she ties everything together is freaking phenomenal. I don't know how she does it.

Tillie and Nate are and their romance is amazing. But also the plot line for this book and all of the craziness going on with the kings, will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time! I stayed up waay too late devouring this book.

"She's Angry now. Good. She's always cute, but when she's angry, there's something inside of me that recognizes her fire and wants to build an inferno with her."

I am so excited to see how all of this is going to continue in Brantley, and Madison and Bishop's future books.

Malum: Part 2 is such an epically wild ride all you can do is buckle up and hold on for dear life, knowing Amo makes it all worth it in the end.

6 Epic freaking stars!!
