If the demons discover the truth about Trinity, they’ll devour her, flesh and bone, to enhance their own powers.

When Wardens from another clan arrive with disturbing reports that something out there is killing both demons and Wardens, Trinity’s safe world implodes. Not the least because one of the outsiders is the most annoying and fascinating person she’s ever met. Zayne has secrets of his own that will upend her world yet again—but working together becomes imperative once demons breach the compound and Trinity’s secret comes to light. To save her family and maybe the world, she’ll have to put her trust in Zayne. But all bets are off as a supernatural war is unleashed…

Review:

I forgot how addicting it is reading  Jennifer L. Armentrout's words, and I missed it.

Storm and Fury is a spin off from her Dark Elements series, which is one of my favorite series from her.
This book had me hooked from the start. I loved Trinity, she is so sarcastic and funny. I very much enjoyed her character.

It was really enlightening to get to see, in a way, what it's like to have the eye disease that Jennifer has, through Trinity's experience with it. She does not let it slow her down one bit. We get to see the struggles she has because of it, and that she never lets it slow her down.

I liked Zayne in the Dark Elements, but since that series was obviously centered around different characters I didn't really connect with him too much, but in Storm and Fury he quickly became one of my favorite characters. The back and forth bickering humor between these two was one of my favorite things in this book. Jennifer always has such hilarious humor in her books. It's just one of the many reasons why I love her books.

A lot of the scene's with Peanut, one of the ghosts Trinity can see,  had me cracking up laughing.

I loved the plot, it kept me interested in everything going on through the whole book. I can't wait to see how a lot of the things that happen in this one unfold in the future books.

We actually do get quite a bit of Layla and Roth in this one.
Which I didnt expected, but thoroughly enjoyed. But because of this and their interactions I feel like you need to read the Dark Elements before hand to fully understand these scenes with them and the tension between the characters.

But if you've read and loved the Dark Elements or any of Jennifer's other YA books I think you're going to love this one.

This is a pretty hefty book, but I knocked it out in about two days, which is fast for me for a book this size. I would 100% recommend this book. It was so much fun to read. I am highly anticipating the next book in the series.
