ARC Review: Hearts and Thorns (Magnolia Cove, #3) by Ella Fields

Genre: Romance
Rating: ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ 5
Release Date: Available Now!

Blurb:

Jackson Thorn was my best friend and worst enemy, but that didn’t stop me from wanting him.

From first words to high school halls, our childhood years braided a bond that wove in a direction neither of us could predict or outgrow.

Forbidden became a word we ignored.

It wasn’t that we didn’t care.
It was that we cared too much.

We had it all planned out.

We thought we could make it.
We thought we’d been careful.
But all we managed to do was prolong the inevitable.
Our destruction.

Hearts and Thorns is a standalone full length new adult stepbrother romance.

Review:

What am I supposed to do with myself now!? I have been waiting and anticipating Willa and Jacksons book since I read Kiss and Break up. And Ella did not disappoint with their story. I loved this book so much.

Willa and Jackson, oh my gosh. These characters and this book hit me right in my feelings! Though I did expect that, Ella has a talent for it, which is just one of the many reasons I love her writing so much.

"We weren't an itch we could scratch. We were fire that would never extinguish, and we'd burn anything in our path to keep getting what we wanted."

Hearts and Thorns is an amazingly wild ride. This book will have you feeling everything. Jackson and Willa are my favorite, though I do love the other books and couples in this series something fierce, their story really is something special. These two together, they were meant to be. It's one of those stories that has you swooning at the love between them. There is also a lot of angst, potential throwing of your kindle/book, and maybe a need for some alcohol if you drink. 😂 But no need to worry, it is all so worth it in the end.

I devoured this book. I would have finished it in one day if I hadn't needed to go to bed, I mean, who needs sleep when you have an Ella Fields book to devour!? I wanted to read this book for forever, I didn't want it to end.

"Heartbreak and peril had never tasted so sweet."

I know this review is a little short, but it's because I don't want to accidentally spoil anything. It is honestly so much better to dive into Hearts and Thorns knowing no more than what the blurb gives you. You truly need to experience it all for yourself.

Hearts and Thorns is yet another wild, emotional ride from Ella Fields. Jackson and Willa's story was everything I was hoping for and so much more.

Do yourselves a favor and read this book. You'll thank me later. 😉
