Hey, Ya'll! So, I have decided to join in and do the weekly blog tag that Kristy at Caffeinated Fae has created. There will be a different bookish prompt every Friday inspired by the fair folk. I love the idea of this and of having a fun weekly tag. I hope you guys enjoy these posts and look forward to them each week like I will! Todays prompt: 

This week on #FaeFriday, we’re talking about changelings. Faeries were often accused of leaving changelings in place of a child. So this week’s prompt is: What is a book you picked up that wasn’t at all what you thought it would be?

My Answer:

The Wives by Tarryn Fisher. 

I read this book in December, and to start off, it is not the genre I  usually read, but I love Tarryn Fisher and her writing. This book is a psychological thriller, and I could not see a damn thing coming in this book. Amazing writing, so many twists and turns, and yeah, definitely not at all what I was expecting, but that was the best part!
