Happy Fae Friday, Y'all! Did you know that faeries have been known to shapeshift into animals? Today we're talking about one of my favorites things to read about, shapeshifters!

What is your favorite book that features a shapeshifter?

Answer:

Okay, this is my jam! 😂 I absolutely love reading books about shifters of any kind. So if you have any recommendations, leave them in the comments! I was actually just talking with a friend about how much we love werewolf romance books. So the topic this week is perfect.

Funny enough though, my favorite book/series that features shifters isn't about werewolves, it's about werecats! It is an older series, but is still my favorite out of all the ones that I've read, and I've read a lot. Lol. Stray by Rachel Vincent is the first book in this series. I will forever recommend these books. The covers are not the best, but don't let that distract you from the awesome story within!

Blurb:

There are only eight breeding female werecats left...

And I'm one of them.

I look like an all-American grad student. But I am a werecat, a shape-shifter, and I live in two worlds.

Despite reservations from my family and my Pride, I escaped the pressure to continue my species and carved out a normal life for myself. Until the night a Stray attacked.

I'd been warned about Strays — werecats without a Pride, constantly on the lookout for someone like me: attractive, female, and fertile. I fought him off, but then learned two of my fellow tabbies had disappeared.

This brush with danger was all my Pride needed to summon me back... for my own protection. Yeah, right. But I'm no meek kitty. I'll take on whatever — and whoever — I have to in order to find my friends. Watch out, Strays — 'cause I got claws, and I'm not afraid to use them...
