Blurb:

Darling Arrow,

I shouldn’t be writing this.

It’s not as if I’m ever going to send you this letter and there are a million reasons why.

First of all, I was sent to St. Mary’s School for Troubled Teenagers – an all-girls reform school – as a punishment for a petty, totally inconsequential crime. Not to ogle the principal’s hot son around the campus.

Second of all, you’re a giant jerk. You’re arrogant and moody and so cold. Sometimes I think I shouldn’t even like you.

But strangely your coldness sets me on fire.

The way your athletic body moves on the soccer field and the way your powerful thighs sprawl across that bike of yours, make me go inappropriately breathless.

But that’s not the worst part.

The worst part is that you, Arrow Carlisle, are not only the principal’s hot son.

You also happen to be the love of my sister’s life.

And I really shouldn’t be thinking about my sister’s boyfriend or rather fiancé (I overheard a conversation about the ring that I shouldn’t have.)

Now if I can only stop writing you these meaningless letters that I’ll never send and you’ll never read…

Never yours,
Salem

NOTE: This book is a standalone and DOES NOT contain cheating.

Review:

This book is full of so much angsty goodness! Also, I just wanna say real quick that I really love Saffron’s brand of steam.  😗 Those scenes are always so well done and extremely hot. They were 🔥

“When your love is doomed, you’re not afraid of a little heartbreak. You walk with it. You dance with it. You breathe it in.”

I love me some forbidden romance. I just want to say even though part of the forbidden aspect is sisters boyfriend, there is no cheating in this book.

I absolutely loved Arrow and Salem. Arrow can be a jackass in the beginning, but let’s be real, that's part of his appeal, at least to Salem, and me. Lol. They are both going through some pretty crazy transitions in their lives when they finally collide, and it makes for a lot of tension between these two. They have known each other, and even lived together growing up, but never really got to know one another. But when they do, sparks fly, and burst into flames.

“I belong to my Darling Arrow.”

I really enjoyed this story. It’s full of all of the angst and steamy goodness that I’ve come to expect from Saffron’s books. But these two really hit me in the heart. I found myself so invested in their story, and wanting everything to work out, and it is a HEA so it does.

Salem and Arrow grow close just when they were meant to. Their love story will have you glued to the pages. I Definitely recommend.

“I fell in love with him like dead leaves fall from the branch of a tree and rain falls from a swollen cloud. I fell in love with him like tears fall when you’re sad and like blood oozes out of your skin when you step on broken glass. It was natural.”
