Genre: Psychological Thriller

Rating: ★★★★☆

From the author of the instant New York Times bestseller The Wives comes another twisted psychological thriller guaranteed to turn your world upside down.

Have you ever been wrong about someone?

Juno was wrong about Winnie Crouch.

Before moving in with the Crouch family, Juno thought Winnie and her husband, Nigel, had the perfect marriage, the perfect son—the perfect life. Only now that she’s living in their beautiful house, she sees the cracks in the crumbling facade are too deep to ignore.

Still, she isn’t one to judge. After her grim diagnosis, the retired therapist simply wants a place to live out the rest of her days in peace. But that peace is shattered the day Juno overhears a chilling conversation between Winnie and Nigel…

She shouldn’t get involved.

She really shouldn’t.

But this could be her chance to make a few things right.

Because if you thought Juno didn’t have a secret of her own, then you were wrong about her, too.

From the wickedly dark mind of bestselling author Tarryn Fisher, The Wrong Family is a taut new thriller that’s riddled with twists in all the right places.

Review:

Leave it up to Tarryn Fisher to take you on a wild rollercoaster ride of emotions.

The Wrong Family is such a unique story. I can honestly say that I have never read anything like it. Tarryn Fishers writing and way of telling stories is out of this world. She has a way of keeping you glued to the pages guessing the whole way through, even knowing you probably still have it wrong, you just can't put it down.

Tarryn Fisher is one of the few authors that can get me to read outside of my genre comfort zone, but I just can't resist her writing.

It did take me a couple of chapters to dive into this one, but once it hooked me, I was gone.

The Wrong Family will have you on the edge of your seat begging for answers, but all you can do is hold on for the journey that the author takes you on and watch it all play out.

This book pulled out all my emotions. It made me uncomfortable, made me anxious, and at times it made me angry. I love when books can pull out an emotional reaction while reading, and The Wrong Family will definitely do all of that and more.

I won't talk about the story itself because I believe that this book is better going in not knowing anything other that what is in the blurb. It's a story best enjoyed figuring it out as it all plays out.

The Wrong Family is a crazy emotional ride, but one that the author makes more than worth it with her amazingly disturbing storytelling and writing.
