Review:

You know those books that suffer the second book syndrome and just don’t live up to the first? Yeah, this book absolutely does NOT suffer that. Oh my gosh. 

The Stray Prince somehow blew me away even more than the first, and that’s saying something because AKSC was one of my top six star reads of 2020, and I don’t give out that rating lightly.

The Stray Prince is packed with action, tension, and writing so beautiful your heart aches. Ella Fields has created one of the most beautiful and captivating fantasy worlds that I’ve ever read. And In true Ella Fields fashion, she will make your heart ache so fierce before repairing it, but her beautiful stories are always worth the heartache in the end, and The Start Prince is no different. 

I couldn’t stop reading. This book had me exclaiming, non too quietly, in the middle of the night while reading. It had my heart pounding, gave me all the anxiety needing to know what was going to happen next. And I absolutely love that. 

That is one thing that is true to today about Ella Fields writing for me. It can always pull such an emotional reaction, and make her characters and world feel so REAL to me, for I felt everything that these characters were feeling and more. 

The Stray Prince is a ride that you are not soon to forget. It is a must read, even if you are not a fan of fantasy, you need this duet in your life.
