But there’s something uglier that has been haunting me for years upon years. So ugly that I have never seen it’s face. I never had to. I’d hear his whispers through my internal screams, feel his shadow brush against my nightmares. He was my the monster that tormented me.

When I started Midnight Mayhem, his presence faded.

I wondered why that was.

Review:

I already know there is no way in hell my words are going to do justice to how phenomenal this book is, but I’m going to try. 

Let me just first start off by saying Amo is the Queen of dark and twisted romance. There is so much to the story it’s insane. 

She keeps you captivated the whole time. I’m never able to tell what is going to happen in one of Amo’s books. I love that so much. It’s never predictable and inevitably when everything is revealed, she never fails to blow your ever loving mind! 

The whole story and set up of Midnight Mayhem is so fucking cool. It’s so intricate and crazy. It’s so much fun to read. One thing about Amo’s writing is never just dismiss even any of the little things, they all somehow have meaning and tie into the storyline somehow later on. 

Ok, now Kingston. Just, wow. I know everyone else and their mother has already claimed him, but nah, he’s mine. (In my head anyways) 😏😉😂 Kingston is something else. I absolutely fucking loved him. 

“If you ever wondered if God played favorites, just look at king. Then again, wasn’t Lucifer also a favorite?” 

Oh, my gosh! I am such a sucker for Amo’s dark AF characters! They are all so flawed and I fucking love it! It makes them so much more real in your head. You can really relate to all of the pain and heartache they go through. 

“Inhale the pain, exhale the agony, live another day.”

And it wasn’t just the main characters, Kingston and Dove, that you fall in love with, it’s all of them. The whole of Midnight Mayhem. I mean, The Kiznich Brothers. Need I say more? I don’t think so. 

I don’t know what books she has planned in this series after this, but I already have several characters I’m rooting for having their own books! 🤞🏻😂 

And Dove, oh Dove. She’s fantastic. So raw, so gritty and real. She’s so damn strong and resilient. And no matter how damn hot King is, she still wasn’t taking none of his shit lying down! 

This book had me so entranced, I couldn’t stop reading. Now, one thing about me, I don’t re-read. Like, ever. And the second I finished IPLH I wanted to dive right back in. I haven’t felt this obsessed with a fictional world in so long! This book is raw, real, dark and gritty. And just so much damn fun to read. And let’s not forget, hot AF! I can’t wait to hopefully re-read in the near future. 

The world Amo has created is so damn addictive, you’re going to love it! And make sure to listen to her playlist that she created on Spotify for this book. Makes the experience so much better. Music is a big part of this book and getting to have that extra experience of listening to the songs as she mentions them in the book makes it a whole new immersive experience. 

Welcome to the world of Midnight Mayhem, jump in and start your new obsession. Because that’s exactly what it will become, it’s just that damn good.
