Welcome to their kingdom

Cole Covington is the most popular heartbreaker at school.
Every guy wants to be him and every girl wants to screw him.
Except me.
His devastatingly good looks, golden arm, and flirty smiles don't do it for me anymore...because I know what's lurking underneath the star quarterback's gorgeous armor.

At least I thought I did.

Sometimes the most beautiful people...hide the ugliest truths.

And sometimes the only way to save someone...
is to walk beside them through hell.

Sawyer Church is the bible-thumping nerd of Royal Hearts Academy.
Girls pick on her and guys don't notice her.
Except me.
Sweet, curvy, and sarcastic, she's impossible to ignore.
No matter how much I try.
Everyone at school has her pegged as the chubby, Jesus loving geek, but unlike them—Sawyer's real and never pretends to be someone she's not.

Until I ask her to be my fake girlfriend.

Sometimes the most beautiful souls...hide the greatest pain.

And sometimes the only way to save someone...
is to fight for them.

Review:

Wow. Ruthless Knight was everything I was hoping for and so, so much more. This story is so deep and deals with so many important things, that I just didn't expect it to delve into, but am so glad that it did.
I absolutely loved the first book, Cruel Prince, and thought that no one could surpass how much I loved Jace. I was wrong. Cole was just, everything. You love to hate him in the beginning because, whoowee, he can be a major asshole, but the longer you go on and things are explained, you just love him.
And Sawyer, damn. This girl is one of my favorite heroines. The shit that she goes through and still manages to hold it together for so long, is amazing.

"You think love is perfect? Like one of those fairy tales?" he shakes his head. "Hell no. Love is hard...difficult. It's dealing with someones shit day in and day out but never giving up on them because your heart won't let you. It's having a million reasons to leave them...but always having one good reason to stay."

One major thing I loved about this book was how real it is. Yes, I know a lot of us read to escape reality, me included, but the situations this book deals with is a dose of reality that a lot of people will appreciate, and frankly need to see.
I won't get into what I'm talking about because it is just something that you need to read the book to understand, and believe me, you won't regret it.
This isn't just your typical high school mean boy good girl romance, though there is a good bit of that mixed in, no Ruthless Knight is so much more than that.
This book will captivate you from the beginning and not let go until the very end. It's one of those books that will stick with you for a long time to come.
Other than my love for these characters I loved the story itself, I definitely didn't see a lot of what happened coming, but my gosh was it all worth it. Talk about emotions! I was drowning in them while reading this, lol.

"Sometimes, when you least expect it...two beautifully broken souls end up finding each other."

And I am not kidding about this book captivating you. I literally started it late evening-ish and stayed up ALL through the night until about 8am reading until I had finished the whole damn book. I couldn't put this book down for the life of me. And that's saying a lot for me. My attention span is usually really bad while reading long books, but not once did I want to put this book down or want it to end sooner.
This story, the characters, the depth and emotion, all of it will have you glued to the pages until the very end.
Ashley Jade did a fantastic job with Cole and Sawyers story. If you enjoyed Cruel Prince, pick up Ruthless Knight, you wont regret it.
