What is a book that was so realistic it made you question reality?

Answer: 

There are very few books that I have disappeared into this way, but there is one is particular that comes to mind from this question. 
It is by far one of the most emotional, and all consuming reads ive ever experienced. I don't think I've ever felt so many emotions while reading a book before. It is one of my favorite books ever. 

The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons is one the most beautiful, heart wrenching, soul shattering books i've ever experienced. I still need to read the other two books in the trilogy. I didn't have the heart for it at the time. I had too many emotions going on for that. If you love historical romance and can handle ALL the emotions, I highly, highly recommend it!
