What is a book that made you forget the world around you existed?
Answer:
Ooh, I like this question. There are not too many books that can do this for me anymore. I used to be able to disappear into many different worlds through books, and completely forget the world around me. But as I've gotten older, the less I can do this so completely. Don't get me wrong, I still disappear into books, just not on such an intense level.
The most recently I can think of that this happening, is with House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas. I haven't read a SJM book since A Court of Mist and Fury, I know I'm not caught up, and even though this is a totally new series, it was like catching up with old friends. Once it started getting interesting, I just got lost in it. I love her writing and her worlds and I hope that that never changes for me.
